This is shaping up to be a busy fall. Between teaching a workshop at the Southwest Washington Writers Conference, reading at the Literary Happy Hour at Capitol Cider, and planning the reading lineup for the Sixth Annual Seattle Crawl, I’m in the thick of it with new and fun literary events to keep me busy while the weather cools. I joined the Lit Crawl planning committee this year following my participation in last year’s crawl. It’s a lot of fun to be on the other side, reaching out to potential readers and brainstorming ideas for readings.
This year’s Lit Crawl falls on October 19th, and I’m excited for the lineup. I’ve even sneaked myself into a reading. I’ll be showcasing some of the writers featured in Joyland, the literary journal where I serve as PNW editor. I’ll host and read at the event as well. Check back here for more info on the time and venue–I’ll announce it as soon as I plan it!
